September saw Moor Mead U8s enter its first league squad into the Epsom and Ewell League. Out of the first 6 games we notched up 4 victories. In addition, our age group played 2 friendlies against Beamish and Sheen Lions.

During November the league team play 3 cup games which will challenge the players and selectors alike.

FA registered coach John Cole had this to add "Well, it's very much a marathan not a sprint. The boys (and girls) have worked their socks off. I'm particuarly pleased with Fred's strike (see photo) as I've been working on the Knuckeball shot with the lads and he's put that one in the rigging. Back of the net".
