Congratulations to Moor Mead Wanderers (U11s) for winning their Cup semi-final today 3-1 at Marble Hill versus Old Coulsdon.
The British weather tested both teams, as conditions lurched from freezing cold to sun drenched temperatures, and clear blue skies rapidly made way in the second half for a sudden biblical monsoon that disappeared as soon as it arrived.
It is credit to both teams that the game was played in good spirit throughout; with Moor Mead's passing game coming up against a more direct, but equally determined Old Coulsdon side. It was a good game for the spectator, and players on both sides impressed.
