A satisfying win for United after a slow start in this league match at Marble Hill.
The first 20 minutes was played mostly in the middle third of the pitch with neither team looking likely to score. United got the crucial breakthrough just before half time when BARNEY pounced after the Hook keeper (who had an excellent game) spilled Nathan’s shot (1-0).
The second half was equally even until SAM punished a defensive error to make it 2-0.
As Hook lost a little confidence Moor Mead hit top gear - a lovely passing move down the right ending with Alex squaring for ROSHAN to score (3-0).
FARHAD made it 4-0 before Hook picked up their consolation.
There were strong performances all over the pitch with a special mention for Bessie returning from injury to show her characteristic perfect timing and solid defensive work.
